And here are the early May pics. If you look closely, you can see the tremendous progress since April. This year we are experimenting with peanuts, potatoes and corn. I think the peanuts are the lighter green, but they and the potatoes are in the deep beds along the fence in the back and on the right. The carrots look awesome so far. I didn’t get pics of the ones we already harvested.

And straight! The wire is set one foot inside the property line, and most, if not all posts, should be within that one-foot buffer between the wire and the property line 
Those are cedar posts that we got for pretty cheap at a place that builds cedar log cabins. They strip the posts of bark with a pressure washer for free. They turned out so great we polyurethaned them. The same place milled the 1″ by 6″ planks for the entrance.
